About Chunky Knit Corner

Chunky Knit Corner is a Texas-based crochet pattern business owned and operated by a Filipino designer.

The founder creates original crochet patterns and sells them as downloadable PDF products. She has also built an engaged social media following by consistently creating content, sharing her work and connecting with fellow crochet enthusiasts.

Her products and audience gave the business a strong foundation. The next step was creating a sales channel that she could control.

The challenge: growing beyond Etsy

Chunky Knit Corner already operated a successful Etsy store, but every marketplace sale came with Etsy fees.

The founder wanted her own ecommerce website where customers could browse and purchase her patterns directly. A dedicated store would give her more control over the buying experience, customer relationships and revenue from direct orders.

She also needed a reliable website that could support product launches and seasonal demand without creating problems during checkout.

Creating CKC’s own ecommerce store

Web Development

Websow designed and developed Chunky Knit Corner’s WordPress website as a direct sales channel for its digital crochet patterns.

Digital Presence

The store gives customers a dedicated place to discover patterns, complete their purchase and receive their downloadable products.

On going Support

Websow continues to support the website and its ecommerce operations, helping ensure that customers can access the store and complete their purchases when demand increases.

These searches give Molave opportunities to reach people actively exploring catering options.

Molave also appeared as a cited source in a captured Google AI Mode response about wedding catering in Bacolod.

Supporting product launches through email

Websow supports Chunky Knit Corner’s email marketing, including product announcements, welcome messages, follow-ups, checkout reminders and other customer automations.

Turning website visitors into email subscribers

Not every visitor is ready to purchase immediately. To give Chunky Knit Corner another opportunity to reach interested shoppers, Websow added an email capture feature to the website.

This helped build an email list of approximately 2,000 contacts.

Instead of losing contact with visitors after they left the website, CKC could introduce new patterns, promote seasonal releases and bring subscribers back to the store.

During the 2025 peak season, CKC’s email campaigns also produced:

  • US$674 in attributed revenue during one seasonal campaign period

  • US$823 in attributed revenue during the Christmas and New Year campaign period

  • Approximately US$300–US$600 from individual sends during stronger seasonal periods

With an email platform subscription costing approximately US$18 per month, attributed email revenue averaged around 16 times the monthly software cost during the measured campaign activity.

This comparison represents revenue relative to the email platform subscription. It does not represent net profit or account for Websow’s services and other business expenses.

Capturing demand from Google Search

Social media remains an important source of attention for Chunky Knit Corner. The founder’s content and community help create interest in her patterns and brand.

Websow supports that work by helping customers find CKC through Google and giving them a reliable destination when they search for the business or its products.

Over the 12-month period shown in Google Search Console, the website recorded:

47,000 Google Search impressions
The number of times CKC pages appeared in Google Search results

2,660 Google Search clicks
Visits to the website generated through Google Search

5.7% average click-through rate
Approximately 5.7 clicks for every 100 recorded search impressions

9.1 average search position
The website’s average position across the searches where it appeared

These figures include branded demand created by CKC’s wider marketing and the founder’s audience. Websow’s role is to help the website capture that demand by keeping pages discoverable, useful and ready to convert interest into direct purchases.

US$18,000 in first-quarter website sales

During the first quarter of 2026, Chunky Knit Corner generated approximately US$18,000 through its website without running paid advertising.

The result came from several parts of the business working together:

  • Original products designed by the founder

  • An engaged organic social media following

  • A dedicated ecommerce website

  • Google Search visibility

  • Email subscriber capture and marketing

  • A direct path from product discovery to checkout

The founder created the products and built the audience behind CKC. Websow provided the website and marketing support needed to serve that audience, capture returning customers and facilitate direct sales.
